Sunday 3rd - Edinburgh Festival Cavalcade.

Meet at Edinburgh Harley-Davidson from 10.00am to be issued with your pass for the Cavalcade and BBQ burger ticket. No pass = no entry to the Cavalcade.

Departure from the dealership at 11.15am to allow us to get all bikes into the motorised parade form up area in East Princes Street Gardens before the surrounding road closures. Please note no late arrivals will be admitted to the Gardens. The Hard Rock Cafe (on George Street, approx 10 minute walk) will be open from 11.00am with food served from 12.00pm for any members who wish to have lunch there with a 15% discount.
All members must be back in the Gardens no later than 2.00pm to be ready for the start of the Cavalcade at 2.30pm. The Cavalcade will proceed along Waverley Bridge, Princes Street, Lothian Road and Castle Terrace.
There will be a BBQ afterwards at Edinburgh Harley-Davidson with a free burger for all Chapter members (on production of membership card) and Cavalcade participants (on production of burger ticket).

NOTE: This is now strictly for Dunedin Chapter Members and invited guests only.

For any one who hasn't been on the cavalcade, you should do it at least once. Its quite a day, the crowd love the bikes...... Give it a go, it has a great "Grin Factor" :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

The Hard Rock Cafe has agreed that they will offer up a voucher for a meal for 4 as a prize to the best fancy dressed rider or pillion on the parade on Sunday. Judging will take place in the Hard Rock Cafe prior to the parade by a member of their staff. Could be a laff, even funnier if someone wins that aint in fancy dress.:D

Looking forward to this, always a great day out and is fun to watch the Polis guys and gals faces as you rev the t*ts of yer bike and know they canny book you, although they would love to ;):D:D:D

The present Mrs Journeyman and I did the fancy dress thing a few years ago after agreeing with so called friends that it would be a great idea for us all to do so..... Surfice to say we were the only ones who bothered (anyone remember two Native Americans on a Road King?)........ Never again!!:(:(:(
