BMF Show - Kelso

Paul and myself are Heading down to Kelso on Sunday, leaving Bankhead BP station, in Glenrothes, at 0830 sharp. If anyone would like to head down with us or meet us on the way, feel free to post here.


*Note* Dunedin are leaving from Dreghorn Services at 1030am to head down but we want to be in Kelso for then :)

A great run down, seen a few Harleys sitting in the services and everyone ignoring us ;) met up with Steve and his crew and a good day.

Bought a few things including a duster jacket LOL just had to have that for the King.

Hey Dez, we weren't ignoring you, we just didn't hear you. Troublemaker's bike is just too quiet, so we had no idea you were riding past. :D

You should have stopped in and joined us for non-existent bacon butties from the wee cafe that's now shut ! Doh ! :confused:

BMF was fairly good weather on the Sunday, I think it's probably the first time this year I've been out on the bike, left home dry and got home dry ! :cool:

We got a bit of a shock with the price increase, £12 day pass. Don't remember it being as much as that, thought it was around £5 last year, with discounts for BMF members. This year, no discount at all on the gate, only by pre-registering.

I don't know what anyone else thought, but our wee group was of the opinion that BMF Kelso seems to be getting smaller each year - not so many traders, that is, don't know if camping numbers have changed. Having gone down for a day for the past few years, I might not even bother next year. :eek:

Still it's good to meet up with folks have a natter, and hang out at the Dunedin marquee, once again expertly run by Derek & crew. Great burgers, but I take it I didn't win anything on the raffle ?

I wanted to buy a new helmet, but surprisingly no one would ride back up the road with me if I did......
