Hi Just found the site thanks to Slider Maxwell. Looks excellent hope it really takes off.

I assume that this an open forum. At present I've got my National HOG membership but haven't progressed to joining a chapter yet & I can't get the details in my profile to recognise tha fact. Seem to have defaulted to Dunedin for some reason.Anyway hope this will be open to all, HOG/Non HOG, Sportster/Big Twin. Surely its about riding Harleys - not the 'my thingy is bigger/better than yours' rubbish you get on some forums

Hi Johnny, in response to being open, yes the forum is open to everyone. Only the chapter forums are closed to non members.
The fact that most of the members of this site are in fact "Dunedin" members might make you concider joining that chapter at some point in the future ;)

Otherwise, no pressure and enjoy the site, I hope it becomes a fun place for everyone

Hi guys thanks for the welcome & the answer to my questions. Actually have my application form for Dunedin Chapter sitting on the Kitchen table. Was holding on because one of the Northern guys said it might be worth holding on till new year as would have to renew again - being a proud Aberdonian don't believe in wasting pennys when theres no need. Ye ken fit like!

Just for your info, there is not much of anything going on in the Dundedin forum as this site is so new. As things take of and the riding season closes, this site should get far more active
