Right then you lot!:D
Had a brilliant time down in Killarney over the weekend with HogHog and the lads, oh! and ladette, sorry Nance.:D:D But sad to say the seat on the Road King Classic is RUBBISH! good for about 150 miles then OUCH! Before I attempt any more long rides can anyone advise on the BESTEST, BIGGEST AND MOST COMFORTABLE seat available for the bike in question. Or do I have to get gel implants! I have spotted the pillow look seat in the 07 accessories 51102-01A page 409? but the Road Zeppelin air seat looks bigger and better:D (very skinny bum, need all the support I can get:)) but
only seems to fit Glides:(. All input gratefully accepted. :D:D:D
Thanks

Had the same problem when I had that bike. I changed the seat for a "Comfort Stitch" model which slotted straight on. Had to lose the fancy middle strap set up from the originall sea, but no worries. Pillion loved the wider and more comfortable seat, but moaned about the sissy bar being lower on her back because of the increased depth of the seat - canny win, eh?

I agree with Napoli, I have the Comfort Stitch on the 'Glide and it's superb!:)

Well here we are two days later and the lateral department is still numb, sore and starting to itch:eek:(must be getting better:) hope so). Thanks lads makes it a whole lot easier if two of you have found the comfort stitch good for big miles. Did notice, too late, that some of the other guys on the trip had seat upgrades. Now I know why:p. Oh well you live and learn, usually the hard way:(. Love the bike overall though:D:D. Oh yes before I forget there's a little widget you can fit on the throttle twistgrip, so you actually operate the throttle with the palm of the hand. Saves your wrist from getting tired, mine was so bad after 550 miles I could'nt pick up a pencil no grip left at all. Anyone know where to get one?
Thanks again

I bought one Worzal, just before the Killarney trip, but it gets in the way of my two finger braking , so if you remind me you can have it for free. Cheers buddy. :D
