Hi Guys,
Thinking of fitting a windsheild to my Street Bob. Can anyone suggest a cheaper make than H-D:o:rolleyes: One that looks the same and if possible has a quick release mechanism.:)

Cheers Beer Man:)

there are loads of them just lying around up in Avimore, best time would be 1am when everyone is legless and can not give chase ;)

:)Great idea Dez, I just need a lookout and someone to take care of the security gards on the bike park and I can have my choice.:D

Never mind "cheaper" - you mean BETTER. I started to clean my bike today and had to move the detachable windscreen to the other side of the garage. When I picked it up, I found that the chrome is coming off of the quick release clamps. It's 2 years old and has hardly been used..!! I've never seen such THIN chrome. I've never seriously questioned the price of HD stuff, but I'll tell you this, I really question the quality of a lot of it.

Hope you find a suitable alternative mate.

Hi Beerman.

I've got a wee sporty and I too couldn't justify £360 to HD for a widscreen. I picked up one from Busters for £100 and bought a HD sticker, I know cheapskate, but it did the trick. A bit tricky to put on and the bolts loosen after a hard ride but it does the job. Just an option.

Cheers

National Cycles Switchblade screens fit most Harleys,:D Google on internet for National Cycles screens, UK ;).
Just had a squint on one uk supplier website, quite a choice on their website, from £80 upwards for the street bob... ;-)
