You guys are gonna get fed up of this...... but here goes.....
I've asked about the Jeans - now its helmet time.
Amongst others, I have a Roof Roadster helmet and I think its Sh1T*.
How about you guys tell me what open face helmets you like so I can look them up on the internet and see what I think.

Hi Hog Hog,
I have had trouble for many years finding a good fitting and COMFORTABLE open face helmet to suit me, I have thrown many away in the bin at the end of the riding season. I looked at Roof helmets myself in the past, but too uncomfortable..
I eventually found a good helmet last year. I now use ARAI SZ Ram 2, bit pricey, but worth every penny for the comfort front on a long run. I would try one first for fit, before buying blind over internet.
I have also tried the Arai Freeway, again uncomfortable on long ride, and totally different fit to the Arai SZ Ram..

I have a Roof Boxer V and think its just fine, very comfortable and when I want to go close face for the extra protection, I have that option.
Helmets are something you have to find out for yourself. Everyones noggin is different.

I'll agree everyone is different. Thing is, my wife looked in the cupboard and said "Why do you need another helmet - you've got 5"
I wasn't brave enough to say.....
"and you have 1 pair of feet and HOW MANY PAIRS OF SHOES...!!... :p
Anyway, will ask local bike shop if they have either of the 2 suggested helmets.
Cheers buddies

I bought a dot helmet (a shorty) at the show a while back. Tried it out a couple of weeks ago and it was like riding without one :D

I got another Caberg 3in1 helmet from the show this year. Very versatile. The 3in1 is 'full-face', 'flip-front' and 'open-face'. The new model has the integrated 'fighter-pilot' tinted visor which operates from a slide bar at the top and can slide back up into the helmet for night rides, leaving you with the clear one which opens and closes as normal.
Also easily houses the Harley intercom kit. Reasonably priced too. Worth a look I'd say.

On second look, there is a slight difference. My slide bar is right at the top and the sides don't wrap as far round the face giving you a better 'open-facer'.
