Well today was the day for blasting away the cobwebs on the bike and in my head for the first time this year - and boy was it great!
Once I got out there I just didn't want it to end........
Dry and windy but all that rain in the last week had cleared the salt away so pretty good conditions for this time of year.
Had a chance to try out my new sidekick seat properly for the the first time too - suberb! Better postion on the bike( lower and further back) and a hellava lot more comfy that the stock that I'd been putting up with for way too long lol.
Can't wait to get back out again!

Hey Iain - good on yer mate ! I was out about two weeks ago on that semi-dry Saturday we had and had the same feeling man - just wanted to ride and ride ................... but then the clouds came up and the rain came down !!
I don't think my power washer has earned it's keep as much in the past as it has in the last two months.
Today was an awesome day to be out - unfortunately we had made other plans so could not get on the bikes - good to hear somebody made the most of it !
C ya on the road soon.

We did exactly the same thing had to open the garage and move my bike so Snap-on could add another shiny bit. Then thought umm while its out I'll just take it round the block. When i got back he'd done the shiny bit thing and his bike was out so we just went a quick spin. like you say it was good to blow a few cobwebs off and get a silly grin back on the face again

Hey Mike
I too had other things to do that day - like fix the roof on the garden shed that had suffered the might of the gales the previous week, but thought what the hell , days like this don't come often in January so ...... out on the bike I went lol .
Looking at the weather forecast it doesn't look like another is coming soon....and the shed still needs fixing.:(
