Dunedin Chapter Challenge 2010 .

Proceeds from this event will be donated to our designated charity for
2010
The Royal Blind School


Travel through three countries in one day.


Minimum entry per rider £50.00 Minimum entry per pillion £25.00.
This event is open to ALL HOG members.

Departure;

7am Shell services Dreghorn Link Edinburgh EH13 9QR heading south.


Breakfast;
distance travelled 141miles 2hr 55min approx
Killington Lake services Kendal Cumbria England LA8 0NW
It’s up to the individual where they stop for breakfast. This is only a recommendation.


Lunch;
distance travelled 123 miles 2hr 30min approx
Ponderosa The Horseshoe Pass, Llangollen Wales LL20 8DR
All riders to collect token here for further part of their journey


Tea;
distance travelled 280 mile 5hr 40min approx
Giacopazzi Fish and Chips 18–20 Harbour Road Eyemouth Scotland TD14 5HU
All riders to collect token here for further part of their journey.


Finish
distance travelled 53 mile 1hr 10min approx
Total travelled 597 miles 11hr 35min approx


All of the above miles and times are an approximation. It will be up to each individual to work out how long they will take for breaks and how many etc in between points. Sponsorship forms can be collected from the dealership or downloaded here (http://www.sunshinestate.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/3C1D10_form.pdf). It is hoped that participants of this event can raise sponsorship monies from friends, family and work colleagues etc. All monies raised to be returned to the chapter Treasurer. Anyone who completes this event will receive a unique patch for their achievement in exchange for the tokens collected on route. Not to mention the personal satisfaction they will have.

It's like a Royal Signals (Scaleybacks) corporals mess.....

My sergeants mess fees were cheaper too :p

Joking aside, keep up the good work on the charity side guys.

Remember, many years ago, being told we were not welcome in the Signals guys mess (something to do with the colour of our berrys !!!!!!!!) So, screw them, we took several of their women up town for a night out in revenge !!!!!!

hi stevie, ill not make 3 countries mate due to the fact i jumped a 6ft fence on sat to retrieve a football cleared the fence ok but landed like a pile a sh-t at the other end, spent 5 days in monklands . home now with a slightly fractured ankle and a stooky to boot (no pun intended).
question is would i have done it if i didnt have those 5 tins (prob would)
get stooky off 21st july so no to bad!:)
going to transfer my sponsor money onto big slippys sheet so good luck slippy and all the guys takn part ;)
lets have some more names guys itll be a cracking day out :D

Thats me sorted then, bike has MOT & TAX for the next year. Swopped my racing slicks for nice new roundish tyres. Bike even turning round corners. Only one problem....done in my sponsorship money though buying new tyres. Jigger do you want to sponsor me?

Anybody else excited bout next weeks marathon?
