Screaming Eagle Pipes for 2007 RK

Can anybody explain why the dealer will not supply Screming Eagle pipes for 2007/8 models. They are pushing Vance and Hinds ovals.
I want to stage one my RK for the new session.

they cannot sell screamin eagles due to hd uk /europe ban last year

but you can get them from usa as screamin eagle road legal .louder and better than uk style

look on usa hd site ref model year etc

ive got them on mine well sorted

Don't know about RK's but you can get your hands on screamin' eagles in the states for Dyna's and ship them. Try Zanotti's if you haven't already tried them. Get a pretty good discount off prices.

Some dispute to whether they're legal in the UK - think they're 48 state legal in the states but whether that's legal in the UK my friends who have bought them are kinda dodging the question.

Many thanks to Macguiser and Mr Fox , for your replies the dealer never gave an explaination but to be fair i never questioned themeven though i asked several times for Screaming Eagle pipes. I have been checking out the HD sites and the prices are good.

Has stamped on the screamin pipes that they're not legal for road use even though dealer always passed them for MOT, was always a sticky point and believe that some MOT stations have failed bikes on them recently. Never had probs with my Vance & Hines. I was told that it was V&H that made screamin pipes

The new Screamin Eagle pipes are not stamped like the Screamin Eagle II pipes. The stamp on the new pipes is identical to the stock Harley pipes. Another point worth mentioning is that you do not have to stage 1 your bike if you put these pipes on and you will still get a small performance gain. There was an article in the Harley enthusiast mag on this.

Hi Guys - not sure what the arrangement is with the UK and H-D in the USA, but I heard from the SA dealer before we left there that H-D globally had discontinued their association with Screamin' Eagle and gone the V & H route ! The last models to come out in SA with SE pipes were the '06 ones.
