A big Hello and thank you all for the welcome to everyone at Scottish HD. My name ie is phil - I live in Dunfermline, Fife - Married to Sandra who likes going for runs on the bike when the sun is shining. She is the one who chose the machine, which is a HD Sportster. I have a held a full bike license for forty years now and have owned just about every make of motor cycle. Have also tried some motocross & trials. My last road bike was a Norton Commando 850, nice machine - you could throw it into any corner and still come out of it alive. I am a member of Fife Bikers & also Kingdom Bikers. Had a good weekend at the Xmas bash 2 weeks ago at Comrie croft - Crieff. Joined in the parade with Kingdom Bikers at the Xmas lights switchon, on the 18th November. We also took a run up to Thunder in the Glen, Aviemore, in August with several members of the Kingdom bikers. That was a brilliant experience. Joined in the easter Egg run with Fife Bikers as well. We are of to Texas this summer to visit a relative. My ambition is to ride either part or all of route 66. Hope to see most of the group at a meet some time in the near future.
Phil
