Hi Shiney the great landmarks are Orlando Harley off Interstate 4 and Orlando Harley off I95 in Kissimee,Lakeland Harley and Daytona Harley amongst loads of others.
I got the maps on my Tom Tom and they work very well (much better than paper maps). Be carefull bringing Harley mechanical goodies through US airports cos I had my luggage searched thouroughly when they saw them on the x-ray scanner, but they were cool when they found out what it was.
Was at Daytone Bike Week this year, try the Iron Horse Saloon at Ormond Beach about 10 miles North of Daytona Beach

Don't forget St Petersburg Harley, Daytona Harley & god knows how many more Dealers. My friend brought back Screamin Eagles for his Fat Bob packed in his luggage last month so the US airport boys & gals might not be so bad.

More to the point have a good holiday though I can't imagine why you'd want to spend a couple of weeks away from Scotland & the fantastic weather we have.

Hi there, is that the same Maddog I keep bumping into around the world? I just had to join this thread since I love riding in the US and am completely jealous of anyone in the planning stages already. I echo Maddogs comments, you just dont need satnav for Florida, perhaps there are some bits of the US road system needing that level of navigation but not Florida. I have ridden to Daytona through the glades and down the Keys several times and would go back in a heartbeat, you will have a ball, but the further south you get the morre simple the roads become until literally there is only one!
