Hey there Les - good to have you up and running : we're also new to the site ................ and Scotland : have been thru much the same as you have this year, job, married AND changed country, so know where you're coming from.
Hopefully there's still time for a few good rides before Eskimo season so we'll probably see you out on the road.
Mandy and I ride out of the Perth area but are game to do rides anywhere as long as it gets us out on the bikes !!
Ride Safe and Enjoy

"One Finger Frank" (1FNGR-is my license plare) here from Newark, Ohio, USA. Anyone out there a XL1200 (Buell M2 Cyclone) motor Wizard? Having a problem with the Buell. Blowing transmission fluid up out of the top left side vent hose. Bike has 23,000+ miles. Always ridden hard. modifications are, cam and valve springs, free flow intake and exhaust, rev chip and a pro set-up 50mm carb. Bike will fly. Need to know if this is a big problem or a situation that can be remedied with a few cold beers and an afternoon in the garage. Problem started after stock clutch re-moved and replaced with a factory O.E. repalcement. Thought to give all up-grades to give that someone an idea. I can be reached at one_fngr@hotmail.com Thanks, any and all help will be appreciated, in fact I'll down a few colds for ya'. Thanks again, 1FNGR

who said the scottish borders have been extended

1. Everybody knows that Scotland really goes down to Berwick.
2. Geordies are just Scots with a funny accent, and would prefer to join up with the hairy ones rather than the plummy South Easters; some have even moved up here, and set up leather-making businesses... ;)
3. Derbyshire is an honourary member of Scotland, being the area where the Bonnie Prince got fed up with the warm beer, and headed back home.

It's not that the Borders have been extended; it's more that the border's in the wrong place..:D:D:D

Aye Robert the Bruce had lands in Yorkshire & if he had had his way they would have been incorporated in Scotland. So really as far south of Yorkshire is ours by right and Derbyshire ain't that far from there! So I think it's fair to say that we have a rightful claim of most of the North of England, the Isle of Man & if Edward Bruce had been successful all of Ireland too!!!!
Then of course most of the empire was run by Scots, peopled by Scots and settled by Scots!

OK so we now officially rule the world!!!!!

I'll take my share in the shape of a nice new Fat Bob from those nice Harley Davidson people & there's another great Scottish clan name there what you don't know of the McHarleys???
