Hi folks,

A lot of guys don't use their bikes so much in the winter, so I thought we could have a good "final" (not for me - I'll ride all winter, Chrome or No Chrome..!!:D..!!) run on Sunday 30th September.

We will leave Inverness around 10.00am, and then go across Tomintoul (in a scenic route) and meet the chaps/chap-esses from the East Side at Ballater, have a bit more of a ride, then stop for a meal and a chat at either Craigellachie or Dufftown, before continuing the ride across the Dava, back to Carrbridge and then Inverness.

Will be about 220 miles through some of the best roads/scenery we have.

Full details and map will be posted on www.pmadata.com/highlandharley/ or mail me and I will send you Word file with the run details.

Saturdays are bad for me...:D

Actually - Sunday is the day that suits most from the Inverness Area. We also do Wednesday nights as that suits most as well.

I'll do any day - if I'm free...:)

I only organise things - I don't always make all of the runs, although I try.

Will try a Saturday one for October and see what interest I get...?

cheers

Met office showing 13 to 17 degrees with sunny intervals for the route, which is infinitely better than the minus 5 they have showing for Inverness at 0300hrs on Friday morning (when I'm off to work.....)

damn..... just noticed its 22:23hrs so better go to bed for a few hours kip.:(

Hope to see you all on Sunday .

Maybe you could consider a rally in the midlands next year. Rock & Blues custom show at Pentrich in Derbyshire at the end of July is a gem. It's as big as the Bull Dog or Stormin' the Castle, just not so well known. Check it out and join the midlands Dunedin chapter on tour. Keep safe

(Snap on) ......... Maybe you could consider a rally in the midlands next year. Rock & Blues custom show at Pentrich in Derbyshire at the end of July is a gem..........

Might just do that. I want to do 1000 mile in the day and qualify for a Saddle Sore 1000 - Iron Butt Award next year (John O' Groats to Lands End with a wee detour to get the thousand miles - for Charity of course..), (or even down and back to go for the 1500 mile Bun Burner Award) so could maybe catch a rally on the way home...??

Where will I find details of the rally (dates, location etc)..?

Cheers
