5.30pm M6 J35 Truckhaven Services
6pm Kendal Leisure Centre (Crooklands road into Kendal from M6 J36)
We'd love to see loads of harleys leading the show for the evening, and hope you can all help!!!

Sounds like a great opportunity for a good run in nice weather - pity the hospital won't let me ride at the moment :|. After thunder I have had to have the finger re-stitched because the bloody thing isnt healing very well!
Hope to be fit for RTTW though
Have a good one, Dave

Guys, my bike is in the dealers for repairs so I need to go pick it up in the morning. Either meet me at the dealers at 12noon or at Livingston (deer park) services at 1pm
Cheers :)

And again, on behalf of the GNAAS (hope you never have need of their services) and Boundary500 huge thanks, you really made a difference.
From the front of our "Float" the noise was tremendous. You could see spectators straining to get a better view of the "real" bikes http://www.harley-davidson-hangout.com/forum/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Obviously, it being the first time bikes have done the Torchlight in that manner there were teething problems and because we effectively lost our pedestrians, the collection total will be down on what it might have been. Nonetheless, when all the cash was gathered, we'd filled two of the buckets to 3/4 level. As soon as I get a total I'll post it here.
I think if we do it again (and I sincerely hope we can) we can organise ourselves better and make much more. As it is, we've pulled off some excellent PR for the GNAAS and the motorcycling fraternity and I for one though it was a hoot.
Some of the Boundary lads took pics, I'll post the ones which may be of interest to yourselves here in due course if you wish.
Once again, Thanks, pleasure riding with you. http://www.harley-davidson-hangout.com/forum/images/smilies/zh_smilies/60277EB7B04744289C07CECAABBDBB0E.gif

Nae bother Gordon, we had a great run down and back,:D although we did think we would need the air ambulance for Dez at one point;) the parade was superb and all done for a very worthwhile cause, :D:D
And low and behold we discovered that a harley can actually sit at the speed limit:<>;) look forward to next year

Gordon, thanks for the invite, it was a great run down and back. The parade was far better than the Edinburgh parade we attend and was a great laugh. Great to meet your chapter again and hoping for more lads coming down next year (if we get invited back) :D
Peter, it was nice to meet you and the lads all enjoyed themselves on the night (even though our bikes took a serious cooking )(believe it or not, Harleys don't do SLOW)
Be good to see the pics and hope to see you next year with even more bikes :)
