Hey folks, found this site after much clicking on the HD website, so thought id come say HI :D

Im Wullie, im goin on 23 and from Shotts, just outside glasgow. I done my Direct access nearly 2 years ago now, and had a Kawaski ER5 for a while, but got a bit put off using it over the winter so decided 4 wheels and a heater is a good option!!!

I wouldnt class myself as a Bike nut, but i do like harleys and choppers, (no time for power rangers and pocket rockets). Ever since i passed my test i loved everything about the Street Bob model, the look, sound and stance.

Although i cant justifiy one this year, next summer i should be able to get a Street Bob, hence the reason for joining the forum, just to get to talk to somefolk who know the bikes and get some advice.


So please be nice :(

Welcome to the site, I'm sure the good people of the forum will help you if they can. Two of my mates have got street bobs, nice scoot. Might not get much replies over weekend it's a major HD rally at Aviemore this weekend - the one 'n' only Thunder in the Glens - that is definitely one for you & the street bob next year

My first time this year, really looking forward to it. The weather in Shotts still as changable?? Used to have it's very own micro climate up there, fair reminded me of Aberdeenshire when I was exiled to the central belt.

yep, lost my status up at the Glen :)

Had a great time, Friday and the ride out on Saturday then had to go to work so rode down myself from Granton on Spey. Had a great ride down as well the King was purring nice.

Sorry you had to miss Saturday night Dez, the Cairngorn Hotel was rockin' & Hog in the Bog was ace!

Don't know about Dez but losing my TITG virginity was nerly as good as the real thing!!!!!!!!
