I've managed to try a few bikes while mine is off the road.

Do you ever get used to the foot positions onthe street rod (night rod) I kept coming up to junctions etc and finding there is no brake on the highway pegs.

Then going round roundabouts with one foot forward and one back!

Is it just me?

Although once i learnt it wasnt my Fatboy i started having fun!
:D

Can't say I've had that problem, but when I tried the Buel Ulysses I got to the first set of traffic lights and found I was several inches too short to reach the ground ! Dunno what onlookers must have thought when they saw me half hanging off the side of a tilted over bike with one foot on the ground and the other up in the air :o It was still a fun bike to ride though.

Aside from the mid-mount controls what did you think of the Rod ?

I ended up borrowing one for thunder in the glens!

Really enjoyed the ride, got used to the controls (ish!).

Must admit i'd have one, but not as a replacement to the fatboy.

Extreamly comfy, over 7hrs riding in one day felt great after it.
